Vila Slavica is situated near the Croatina city of Trogir on the island of Ciovo. It is approximately 8 km away from the city centre. Located on a peninsula, the Old Town of Trogir (Greek for goat hill) and the mainland were separated by a canal going back as far as Greek times. Today it is connected with the island by a bridge.
