Apartments Gvardiol offers Mediterranean experiences that you will experience walking along the "boardwalk", or with a drink in one of the terraces overlooking the city's harbor. Nearby is the closest starting point for trips to St. Michael (265 m) with 3 km long asphalt road. The fort overlooks more than 200 islands, an archipelago and Kornati National Park. Just 80 meters from Preko lies the idyllic island Galevac, covered with lush Mediterranean vegetation, with hidden monastery from the 15th century. It is a popular place for swimming and sandy beach "Jaz" is ideal for children, and rightly bears the blue flag - the symbol of pure sea. On the eastern side of the city, near the ferry terminal, is a Romanesque church of St. Ivan from 11th century.
