Beaches in Vodice

According to the Vodice tourist board, Plava plaža covers 17,350 m² and has gravel, sand and concrete surfaces, a lifeguard service, a children's playground, access for people with disabilities and parking nearby. Srima is a 6,000 m² beach with an aquapark, a children's playground and parking. Male Vrulje is a newly landscaped beach designed as a lagoon.

Getting to Vodice

Vodice is reached by the A1 motorway or the Adriatic road (D8). Split and Zadar airports are each 65 km away, and the nearest railway station is in Šibenik. Vodice is 11 km north-west of Šibenik. Routes and tolls are on our travel page.

Weather and sea

The Vodice tourist board gives the Adriatic coast about 2,600 hours of sunshine a year and a summer sea temperature of 25 to 27 °C. The maestral, a fair-weather wind, usually starts to blow around 11 o'clock. Current conditions are on our Vodice weather page.

Trips from Vodice

The island of Prvić, with the villages Šepurine and Prvić Luka, is on a Jadrolinija route from Vodice. The Faust Vrančić Memorial Centre opened there in 2012.
